ABOUT THE PROJECT

Why is needed?

Inclusive Education Priority

Project COTIC responds to the growing emphasis on inclusive education in Europe. Efforts in recent decades have focused on implementing principles that ensure comprehensive support for equal opportunities in school life, as highlighted by the European Pillar of Social Rights (2017).

Addressing Educational Challenges

Driven by survey findings indicating challenges in identifying learning difficulties and uneven integration of collaborative teaching, Project COTIC aims to develop solutions. The project introduces an assessment scale, creative workshops for educational materials, and an e-learning course for primary school and SEN teachers.

Empowering Educators for Long-Term Impact

Project COTIC's primary objectives center around improving teaching quality within inclusive education. Through initiatives like the assessment scale and collaborative teaching workshops, the project empowers educators with tools for early intervention. Dissemination efforts target teachers, SEN professionals, psychologists, and educational authorities, ensuring a lasting impact through open access materials and an active e-learning course.
